Mee Marathi aims to publish factual, sourced technology explainers. This page describes how we check claims before and after publication.
1. Source Priority
We prefer primary sources in this order:
- Official product blogs, documentation, and press rooms (for example Google / DeepMind)
- Peer-reviewed research or standards bodies when relevant
- Reputable technology journalism for context
- Hands-on testing notes when we have directly used a tool
2. Multi-Source Check
For major claims (benchmarks, launch dates, security incidents, policy numbers), we try to corroborate with more than one independent source when available. Unverified social-media rumours are labelled as unverified or omitted.
3. Technical Language
AI and cyber-security topics are reviewed against the author’s professional background (software / AI engineering experience) and official documentation. Marketing language from vendors is treated carefully and not copied as proven fact.
4. Sensitive Topics
We avoid medical cure claims, guaranteed investment returns, or illegal “how to hack” guidance. Cyber-safety articles emphasize defensive hygiene and official CERT / vendor advisories.
5. Corrections Process
- Reader reports an issue via Contact with URL and evidence.
- Editor reviews within a reasonable time.
- If confirmed, content is corrected and the update is reflected on the page.
6. Transparency
Articles that rely on demos or early-access features will note limitations. We are not affiliated with mentioned vendors unless disclosed.
